The Grand Bahama Christian Council is an organization recognized by the Government of the Bahamas,
in association with the Bahamas Christian Council, which is comprised of Christian Councils formed throughout
the islands of the Bahamas.
The BCC is the official voice of the Christian community in the Bahamas.
The GBCC is comprised of various churches that confess the Lord Jesus Christ according to the Holy
Scriptures and seek to fulfill together their common calling to the glory of God; Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
The GBCC is constituted for a threefold purpose: firstly, to promote understanding and trust between the
various parts of Christ's Church in Grand Bahama at all levels. Secondly, to further Christ's mission of service
in love to all people, by the joint action of Christians in Grand Bahama. Lastly, to witness for the Christian
community of Grand Bahama on matters of social or common concern.
